Mobile check deposit gives you the flexibility to add funds to your account safely and securely if you cannot make a trip to the branch. Instead, you can add them to your account from wherever you happen to be!

Here is a list of accepted checks:

  • Local checks
  • Payroll checks
  • Personal checks

Make sure to endorse the back with “FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY” and your authorized signature.

The following cannot be processed through Mobile Check Deposit:

  • Checks made payable to Cash
  • Savings Bonds
  • Foreign (international) items
  • Treasury Checks
  • Money Orders
  • Social Security Checks
  • Any check that has been altered

How Long Does It Take for a Mobile Check to Deposit?
When you deposit a check to your JAXFCU account, the funds aren’t available right away. As with all checks, it can take 1-2 business days, depending on the size and account history. These are a few things that could delay posting:

  • You’re depositing a large check
  • There have been frequent overdrafts
  • A deposited check returned unpaid in the past

Remember, don’t discard the paper check at once. If something goes wrong with your mobile check deposit, you may need to bring in the paper check instead.
