On March 29, 2023, we’re officially changing our name to RadiFi Credit Union.
Our new name will be more welcoming and inclusive to all – and reflect who we are for generations to come.
We’re excited to announce a brand-new name and look – JAX Federal Credit Union will soon become RadiFi Credit Union.
Our new name reflects our passion for serving you – and aligns with our mission to empower our members to live vibrantly through our care and guidance. It embodies our tenacious spirit, dedication to service, and an easier way to bank.

Although our name is changing, we remain a federal credit union, deeply committed to all members. Serving Northeast Florida since 1935, our commitment has been and always will be – our community. Our new name is inclusive to everyone in our field of membership and will help us overcome limiting perceptions that only people living or working in Jacksonville can join.
The name change is not the result of a merger or acquisition of any kind. It simply reflects who we are as a credit union and better reflects our new mission, vision, and culture.
We will continue to be owned by you, our members, just as we are today.
Here’s what is not changing:
Your account information will not change.
Your account number will remain the same.
Your online and mobile banking login credentials will not change.
You’ll log in to digital banking the same way you always do. Online and mobile banking will get a new look on March 29, 2023, but just new colors and a new logo, that’s it. Everything else will remain the same.
Your debit and credit cards will remain the same.
Your account information will not change. You’ll have the same debit and credit card numbers.
Your automatic payments will remain the same.
We’re simply changing our name and brand; this will not affect your account information or your automatic payments to or from your JAXFCU account.
You can still use your checks.
Your account number and our routing number will remain the same. You can continue to use your JAXFCU checks with ease.
Our associates and locations will remain the same.
You’ll be served by the same awesome associates at our current branch locations.
Our telephone number will remain the same.
You’ll continue to contact us the same way you always do.
Our ATM locations will not change.
You’ll continue to use the same surcharge-free ATM locations you do now.
You can continue to use Shared Branching through the Co-Op Shared Branching Network.

WHY ARE YOU CHANGING YOUR NAME?
IS THE NAME CHANGE A RESULT OF A MERGER OR ACQUISITION?
No. The name change is not the result of a merger or acquisition of any kind. It simply reflects who we are as a credit union. We will continue to be owned by you, our members, just as we are today.
WHAT WILL CHANGE WITH THE NEW NAME?
There will be no impact on your existing relationship with us – or change to your day-to-day banking. You will see changes to our exterior signage, brochures, stationary, website and branches in the weeks following our name change announcement. Our website address jaxfcu.org will also transition to radificu.org.
WILL OWNERSHIP OF THE CREDIT UNION REMAIN THE SAME?
Yes. The credit union will remain 100% owned by you, our members.
WILL THE CREDIT UNION EMPLOYEES CHANGE?
No. Our team will remain intact. The employees you’ve grown accustomed to serving you will be ready to provide the personalized service you expect.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE CREDIT UNION?
Our current credit union charter and field of membership remains the same. It encompasses anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Duval, Clay, Nassau, Baker and St. Johns Counties.
WILL MY ACCOUNT NUMBERS, USERNAMES AND/OR PASSWORDS CHANGE?
No. Your account numbers, usernames and passwords will remain the same.
IF I HAVE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT OR RECEIVE DIRECT DEPOSIT, WILL I NEED TO DO ANYTHING?
No. Our routing number, 263079234, will not change and your account number(s) will remain the same. You will not need to take any steps to update automatic payments or direct deposit.
WILL MY DEBIT AND/OR CREDIT CARD(S) STILL WORK?
Yes. Your debit and credit cards will continue to work as they always have. Your credit card number will not change, and your debit card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) will continue to function as always, with no changes.
When we issue new cards in the future, they will reflect our new name. However, there will not be a ‘mass reissue’ of cards; they will be replaced when existing cards expire and updated on their regular schedule.
WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO USE MY CHECKS?
Yes. You can continue using your existing checks. When you reorder your checks, you’ll see the credit union’s new name and logo on your checks.
HOW WILL MY LOAN PAYMENTS BE AFFECTED?
Loan payments (or any checks payable to the credit union) can be made payable to RadiFi Credit Union effective March 29, 2023. Checks payable to Jax Federal Credit Union will continue to be accepted throughout 2023.
DO I NEED TO GET MY LEGAL DOCUMENTS (I.E., LIENS, TITLES, INSURANCE FORMS) UPDATED WITH THE NEW NAME?
In most cases, your documents will be unaffected by the name change. Please call us at 904-475-8000 if you have specific questions about your documents.
HOW WILL THE NAME CHANGE IMPACT FEES, LOAN AND DEPOSIT RATES?
Rates and fees will not be affected by the name change. We will continue to monitor our rates and fees as we always have to ensure high value and return to our members. Rates and fees do fluctuate as they adjust in response to market conditions.
WILL THE CREDIT UNION REMAIN A FEDERAL CREDIT UNION?
Yes. Our federal charter will remain unchanged, and we will remain a federal credit union even though “Federal” is not included in our new name.
WHY DID YOU REMOVE FEDERAL FROM YOUR NAME?
The word Federal has been confusing to many, leading some to believe we serve only people employed by the federal government. Removing Federal from our name also shortens our name, making it easier to use in brand signage, communications and more.
WILL MY DEPOSITS REMAIN FEDERALLY INSURED BY THE NCUA?
Yes. Deposit accounts for each share owner remain federally insured for up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
CAN I STILL USE SHARED BRANCH FACILITIES?
Yes. You may continue transacting business at shared branching facilities throughout the United States and Canada. To search for a shared branch near you, visit co-opcreditunions.org.
WILL THE CREDIT UNION NUMBERS, WEBSITE AND EMAIL CHANGE?
All phone numbers will remain the same. Our website address will transition to radificu.org. Our email addresses will also transition from @jaxfcu.org to @radificu.org.
WILL BRANCH DAYS OF OPERATION AND HOURS CHANGE?
No. Our branches will remain open and available to you on the same days and times you expect.
WILL THERE BE ANY CHANGE TO MY STATEMENTS?
There will be no changes to your statement cycle. Keep a watch in your mail for our new statement stationery with our new name.
WILL THE NEW NAME CHANGE BE EXPENSIVE?
We consider the costs associated with changing our name to be a smart investment in the future of our credit union. The name will help us serve more families in our communities and fulfill our mission empowering more people through our care and guidance.
