A savings account establishes your membership with Jax Federal Credit Union. The requirement for membership is an initial deposit of $10.00 (a $5.00 membership fee and $5.00 minimum balance in a regular savings account). As long as you maintain the minimum balance in your savings account, you are a member for life regardless of your employment status at the sponsoring Select Employee Group (SEG).

A $100.00 balance is required to earn dividends (compounded and paid monthly based on the daily balance).

A You-Name-It Savings account is an additional savings account to help you save money. Call it whatever you like, for example: John's New Car Account or Mary's Shopping Account.

Holiday Account
Designed to help you avoid unnecessary debt by saving throughout the year for the holidays. On November 15 of each year, the account funds are either transferred into your savings or checking account or a check is mailed to you. Have peace of mind by knowing you are saving all year for your holiday expenses.
