The facts about how to access your title.

Since March 2001, Jax Federal has been a participant in the electronic lien program in Florida, Virginia and California. When you pay off a loan, the electronic program permits you to receive your title in the mail from the Department of Motor Vehicles in as little as 7 to 10 business days.

Do you need your title quicker? Contact the title department to request an "expedited" title, and you should receive the title in as little as 2 business days. You can pick up the title at your local tax collector's office by paying a fee of $7. You will be able to walk out with the paper title in hand!

Acceptable forms of payment for any JAXFCU automobile loan include cashiers check, cash, or transfer of funds from a current JAX FCU savings or checking account.

If you’re selling a vehicle that you have financed with Jax Federal, please be aware that it takes 7 to 10 days before a title is printed and mailed to your address. The state of Florida has a notice of sale of motor vehicle form on their website. Click on the motor vehicle section, then click on “DHSMV forms” and choose the “Notice of Sale Form.” This form can be turned into the tag agency upon sale of the vehicle, allowing the tax collector's office to update their database to reflect the title record as "sold."
