Jacksonville, FL – It will soon be moving time for Jax Federal Credit Union’s Modis branch, but the address won’t change too much. Why? The Credit Union is moving across the lobby of the Modis building to a newer, high-tech suite diagonal from its current location.
Jax Federal’s Modis location serves nearly 1,000 loyal members. Due to a focus toward eServices and the delivery of easier, more efficient service to its members, the Credit Union decided the smaller suite within the Modis building would better meet its needs.
“As always, we will offer the excellent member service everyone has come to expect – regardless of the location,” says Doris Banks, current Modis Branch Manager. “You can open new accounts and apply for loans, including mortgages.”
The branch will continue to have a full-service ATM, and it will also include a new cash recycler system and a self-service coin counter. JAXFCU associate Kim Watson has been named Branch Manager upon the Modis location’s move.
A definite moving date to the new location will be announced as construction on the new site nears completion.
Chartered in 1935, Jax Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution servicing more than 30,000 accounts throughout northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. JAXFCU currently has nearly $300 million in assets, with 105 employees and 9 branches, including: Main Service Center, 562 Park Street; Modis Building, 1 Independent Dr.; Federal Office Building, 400 West Bay St.; Orange Park, 950 Blanding Blvd.; Atlantic Beach, 1003 Atlantic Blvd.; Southpoint, 4100 Belfort Rd.; Hilliard, FAA Center, 37075 Aviation Lane; Florida Air National Guard, Northside; and Camp Blanding, Starke, Fla.
