Each year, from June 1- August 31, members interested in being a volunteer at the credit union are encouraged to apply.
Directors and committee members represent the diversity of their fellow members and are charged with setting policy and approving plans and budgets. Jax Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, nonprofit cooperative focused on improving the financial success of our membership. Credit unions are the only financial institutions in the United States that are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. With over $353 million in assets, JAXFCU is the largest federally-chartered credit union in Jacksonville.
If you have a willingness and ability to commit the time necessary to prepare for and regularly attend board and committee meetings usually held during business hours, and if you have a desire to share your skills and vision with our organization then we want you to apply.

- Prefer 5 years work experience in any industry
- Attendance at monthly & ad hoc meetings and training, held during business hours
You will be provided with educational opportunities that may involve travel and networking with other credit union volunteers.
